I love the concept that it's not misbehaviour, it's missed behaviour.
So, I've missed an opportunity with that behaviour to teach my son something.
They may not have the skill development to do it yet, or they may not have the emotional skills to do it. Or I may have reinforced that behaviour.
And so that kind of gives me options to look at, to understand why that behaviour has happened.
Misbehaviour, being a missed behaviour helped me look at naughty times, and go okay, why is it happening? Take a step back and just think, look, we can do it better next time.
